This weeks photography workshop focused on bouncing a flash off coloured paper to make drops of water look cool.
The set-up -
- A piece of clear plastic balanced across two tables and the camera pointing down straight through it to the floor.
- Water sprayed onto the plastic to create random water patterns.
- Coloured paper on the floor.
Using a shutter release cable in one hand and the speedlight in the other it was a case of clicking the shutter (which was set to 0.8 seconds) and then firing the speedlight. The results as you can see are pretty cool.
